We just heard from K that she is boarding her plane from Chicago to LA. She had a dust up with both Travelocity and United because although they showed a seat assignment on her itinerary, when she checked yesterday, she did not have a seat. After much trial and tribulation and threats of lawsuits, BBB reports etc., she got them to give her a seat. The weather in Chicago is pretty iffy and she doesn't have much time in LA before her flight to Santa Barbara. We have to leave before she lands in LAX. Her flight is scheduled to leave about 30 minutes late but the most recent flight info says she is due to arrive only a few minutes late.
She is staying till Friday around 1 so we have a lot to squeeze into a short amount of time. We are looking forward to her first visit.
