This is the way to do snow! One of our neighbors has "snow" trucked in every Christmas eve for their kids to play on Christmas morning. It's a very popular destination for the kids in the neighborhood. The boy playing on the snow doesn't live at the house, but he told me he loves to play on the "snow". It did getting pretty cold the last few nights with forecasts of frost both nights. We covered the more vulnerable plants and prayed for the best. I'm told that a couple of years ago they had a real hard freeze and many plants died. There were some hardier plants that did make a comeback but you can still see evidence of that freeze around the neighborhood.

With all the snow in New England in December, I'll bet the Connecticut readers will find it hard to believe that snow was trucked in as a treat!
