Lunch with family

Today P, S and Aunt L came for lunch. We lunched on reubens, skitchwitches (grilled tuna with cheese and bread and butter pickles - a sandwich we first had in college at "the spa". We took advantage of the wonderfully sweet strawberries and had strawberry shortcake. We find that the shortcake served out here is the sponge cake variety where we are accustomed to the biscuit type. Thank goodness for bisquick mix.

P & S are heading to Ireland on Friday and KM and C are coming in from Washington D.C. to be on point for Aunt L. Her caregiver didn't come - this is the first time a caregiver hasn't come. This caregiver has a job at the Chinese restaurant in Pismo and is a caregiver when she isn't working there. We had dinner at the restaurant last night and she was our server. The food is the best Chinese food we've found in the area so far.

Had a great conversation with K this afternoon. She said she had a great time with T last weekend in Chicago. She's gotten more or less caught up after losing a day last weekend.
