Chicago

I left yesterday morning from San Luis Obispo for Chicago. T took me and our next door neighbors at 5 AM to the airport. The neighbors were heading to Cabo San Lucas and were on the same plane as I was. As we boarded it started to sprinkle but there was no effect on our take off. We landed early in Phoenix and I had no trouble making my connection which was supposed to be a 45 minute layover. The flight to Chicago left on time and we arrived early in Chicago. K met me at the airport and we dropped off my bag and a computer box she picked up at the office and headed out for the Golden Nugget (a diner). After being fortified with a delicious omelette, we headed to Gethsymene to buy a couple of small plants for her condo. Then she dropped me offa at P and K's. We had reservations for 7PM at the China Chef. AJ&J met us there for a delicious dinner with beef and Chinese broccoli on chow mein, shrimp with walnuts, Mongolian beef, crispywhole chicken, steamed fish and soup and egg rolls. Yum. We reconvened at P&K's for dessert and coffee. Kay came to pick me up, had some leftovers from dinner and dessert and we headed back to her condo. Great evening!
