Scarf

I received a gift certificate for yarn at a local yarn store. They only carry high end yarns. I knit scarves and hats almost every evening for merchant marines through the Seamen's Institute. The yarns are available at any of the local department stores and they are relatively inexpensive.

I bought a few skeins of yarn and I mean few - 5 skeins for $100. So far I ran out of one of the yarns and have another skein on order. I'm making this scarf, called the Montego Bay Scarf. It's very pretty and hopefully somebody will enjoy it as a Christmas gift.
