The sun will come out
....tomorrow! Well, this song has not been a favorite since the days of T's theatre involvement and he auditioned dozens of little girls singing it for their audition song for casting in a play he was directing. Around here it is a common refrain with the "June Gloom" scenario that takes over along the central coast. It comes from the onshore flow and keeps our temperatures down while the valleys bake. Many tourist come to enjoy the mild temperatures. We get hoards of them at the Thrift Store. We save lots of sweatshirts to sell in June when all the valley people come to the shore unprepared for the milder weather and need to find sweaters etc. to wear while they walk the beach. The marine layer wears off most days leaving the skies sunny, bright and very blue. I think I appreciate it even more when it pops out like that.

Well our son is auditioning possible cast members for "Sound of Music." Guess how many little kids (and their mothers) see themselves as future von Trapps?
