The gophers have been very busy this year. Everyone is talking about the bumper crop of hole digging critters. I have a new found respect for Bill Murray in "Caddyshack". We lost 3 agapanthus plants earlier in the spring - we watched them being pulled under by the little buggers. Our landscaper has been trying to eradicate them but they are persistent. A friend who has an immense garden picked three new astromeria plants up for us and we planted them where the agapanthus was. Let's hope they do better.
