Back in the swing of thing

I've been back from my east coast trip since Wednesday. I took a day to clear out my ears but I'm back to normal now. I'm trying to catch up with the guitar and Spanish classes I missed. The Spanish class is a little easier to catch up on. The guitar teacher is using a very different approach. He is trying to teach us to learn by listening - no writing anything down. He wants us to learn by experimenting and trying things out. I think this may be harder for people who have learned to read music. I'm game for now. I have my second class tomorrow - but it's the third class of the series.
