After 4 days of sweltering heat the day dawned absolutely beautiful. We're heading to the beach in a few minutes. The temperature is in the low 70s with a slight breeze and sunny skies.
Last night T and I ushered at the Clark Center for a community event put on by the local Sweet Adelines group. It was very well done with a western theme - "How the West Was Sung". Lots of songs from "Annie Get Your Gun". There were 3 barbershop quartets, 3 adeline quartets, one instrumental group and a whole bunch of women. The event was well attended with over 350 people in the audience.
