At the beach

There was a lot to see at the beach. The pelicans continue to return in large numbers. There was a flock that flew to an ocean inlet that gets separated from the ocean at low tide. I expect the water is nice and warm there.

We also spotted the Annheiser-Bush Clydesdale's which were being fed. They are big horses. They were there for the Pismo vintage car show. It is advertised as the largest car show on the west coast. The weather was pretty hot on Friday and Saturday but Sunday was real beauty. They have had between 150 and 200,000 people visit Pismo Beach for the car show in years past. I don't know if the weather kept people away or not. The beach was pretty crowded on our walk. Here's a picture of one of the Clydesdale's.
