dinner with the cousins

The cousins, P&S, are coming over for dinner. Planning on going for a walk first as we are now in daylight savings time and it will be light for an hour longer. It's a bit overcast with the threat of showers but that doesn't amount to much around here. We could really do with some rain. Trying to figure out how to get all the food ready and still hot with a walk before dinner. I'm not one to leave electrical/gas appliances on when I'm away from the house. Should be a fun challenge. It is lighter later so I may wait to start cooking everything until we get back. Dessert is not a problem as it's all made - triple decker chocolate raspberry cake.
