Another successful senior luncheon

Yesterday was the last Monday in March. As usual we had a Senior Luncheon at the church. I made individual little meat loaves (out of ground turkey), mashed potatoes, brown gravy and Ranger cookies. Some others made a delicious fruit salad. This was a real comfort food meal and boy did the seniors like it. We had fewer people than who signed up but the ones who did really enjoyed themselves. They loved it all and many people asked for the recipe for the gravy and the cookies. There were many comments about how I made the meat loaf. They really seemed to appreciate our caring for them. Almost everyone stopped by for a doggie bag of left overs and everyone asked if there were anymore cookies. Those seniors really like their sweets. Yay!
