Chinese New Year party

Chinese New Year party went off great and we got to unveil the remodeled kitchen. The menu included nuts and candies, pot stickers and little spring rolls for appetizers. All symbolize either wealth or prosperity. We had noodles for longevity, sticky rice for relationship, spare ribs, General Tso's chicken and Peking duck. We ended with the un-Chinese chocolate ding-dong cake (marzipan cream filling with ganache frosting). We finished with some cordials. Lots of happy conversation and good eating. I think we now have a tradition this being year 4 of doing this.
